Reflect

Ifind this piece interesting, because besidesit`s qualities in shape and pattern, it can show three dimensions (if I see it right - but I see it): beneath the water, on the surface, and the reflection of stuff not visible in the picture like the trees.
By reducing the colour palette, these different areas start blurring into each other. So looking at the picture is confusing and challenging.
Also, the rythm of the tree`s reflections give the piece enough calmness to prevent it from falling apart.
After all, this is an interesting take on showing what can be found in nature just by watching closely.
