Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

i like this. wouldnt you say there is something sacred about the destructive and chaotic leanings of men as well? or do you think creation remains sacred unchecked? or possibly that only creation is sacred in this set of dualities?

Personally I believe sacredness comes from both the male and female energies.
Each energy brings its own aspects, which are both important in ones individual processes of spirituality.
These energies are found in all things in the universe. An interesting discussion is the merging
or balancing of these energies as well.

I am a female physical being but am made up of many masculine qualities/aspects/energies as well, perhaps more so then the female.

different cultures and era's attribute different qualities as masculine and feminine. its always shifting and changing with time and setting most likely out of whatever successful leader or paradigm given the current trials and tribulations of the group as a whole how well they convey the idea to their followers "I am the ultimate man/woman bc i succeeded for these reasons" The only prevailing interpretation in mass culture is what the media provides. The prevailing qualities of past cultures are often generalized bc finest details areeither omitted or painted in a biased manner by the historian who look to a very specific era or "golden age" as paradigm. For instance, how detailed and accurate could a Romans interpretations of Germanic and Gaelic cultures really be? Romans being the source of most pre-christian historical accounts in western civilization.
